i made this zine with resources on where to donate to support palestine, places to learn more information, and some other actions you can take.

i have these available on my ko-fi right now. they are both pay what you can, and 100% of the money i get from selling them is being donated to get eSIMs for gazans (which is a resource i provide in the zine as well!).

the PDF starts at $0 so it can still be accessible, but again, any money will be donated. the physical mailed zine starts at $1 because ko-fi doesn't let physical items be free.

i wanted to do something like this because i love making zines and spreading information, and i currently don't have my own means to donate directly to any relief efforts, so this felt like a good combination!

It's been a while since I shared an update. Life has been so crazy. My novel comes out, in like, just under a week. Wow. It still sounds so crazy to say. I can't believe this is actually happening to me. It's so insane.

So, I'ma share some other stuff I plan to work on in future after my book comes out (and hopefully sells more than like, four copies lmao)

The Unnatural History

THE UNNATURAL HISTORY is a weird horror-adventure series about a small crew navigating a cursed river system where the laws of nature are breaking down—and time might be folding in on itself.

Think: ghost birds, mirror versions of yourself, half-sunken towns that shouldn't exist, and cryptic journals that seem to know what’s coming. Each stop on the river brings the group closer to something ancient and watching, and maybe even inside them already. Also, there are dogs. So many dogs. None of them normal.

It’s Heart of Darkness meets Gravity Falls, Annihilation, and overheard campfire stories no one ever admits are true.

If you’ve ever wanted to read a cursed field guide written by people slowly losing their grip on reality—this is for you.

This Could be Religion

(my second novel in the works ayy)

THIS COULD BE RELIGION is a war story about ghosts, guilt, and the things we drag with us even after death. It follows a soldier who can cross over into the spirit world—but the dead don’t always want to stay dead, and they’re starting to follow him back.

As he treks through a brutal campaign in a fictional country torn apart by violence, he starts seeing the girl no one else will admit was murdered. She’s asking for justice—and she’s not alone. His squadmates are unraveling, the war is getting stranger, and something is very, very wrong with the land itself.

It’s like if The Things They Carried took a detour through Pan’s Labyrinth and got lost somewhere near The Leftovers. Quietly surreal, emotionally raw, and full of dirt, blood, and memory.

For fans of war stories with a pulse in the dark and a prayer in their teeth.

Last Call for Zine PDFs

Hello all!

I just want to say one final thank you to everyone who has supported this zine (both Volumes 1 and 2!) over the past few years. It has truly been an amazing experience and I could not be more grateful.

That said, we will be closing down the zine store as of the end of this month, January 31 2024. Afterwards, zine PDFs will no longer be available, and the social media accounts will no longer be monitored.

Well, I absolutely did not expect it to take an entire year from exp. 2600 to the next issue, but such is life, honestly. Either way I'm terrifically pleased to announce that exp. 2601 will be debuting this weekend as part of Spring Online Canzine 2024, Canada's premiere zine festival running April 13th to 21st. 

This issue covers the eleven games released for the Atari 2600 in 1978, with essays on Space Invaders and the year 1978 to provide context. Even if you're not particularly interested in the Atari 2600, I think there's a lot in here for anyone interested in video games and their history, so I hope you'll check it out.

As with the first issue, exp. 2601 is being published in a signed, numbered limited edition of 52 and I'm also making it available as a PDF and ebook for people who don't want a little object, but still want something to read on an iPad or a Kindle with a bit more focus than they'd give to a webpage.

I am opening pre-orders here today, in advance of Canzine, so I can announce the issue with enough time to ensure subscribers know about it and are aware that they automatically receive 35% off in our ko-fi shop (including on new issues.) It's just $1 per month to become a subscriber, and you'll also get new articles a week early (as well as regular exclusive articles.) Physical copies will be sent out in the last week of April, with digital copies arriving as soon as Canzine begins.

In addition, and not to bury the lede here, for the first time since 2020 my ebook collecting the best of the original run of exp., exp. negatives, is also available for pre-order today, and will be on sale during, and only during, Spring Online Canzine 2024 (to reiterate: April 13th-21st).

If you don't have any of my available digital publications (exp. 2600, 2601, and negatives) I have also made a bundle of all three available for pre-order with a $2 discount for all (and if you're a subscriber, that stacks with your discount!)
